You act like it's easy for an artist to just churn out classics on any level though. Those are all very solid releases and aren't wack at all.

You can count with one hand the solid albums. R&B is on life support.

Haven't had a classic R&B album in a WHILLLLLLLLE

My 1st listen was :ehh:

Definitely not an album to listen to with "R&B" ears. This some alternative or like people saying new wave music.

cause you a simple nikka.

the dream thread is that way

:camby:

I dont even consider weeknd an R and B artist, he is more of a new wave artist and this shyt is timeless.

Shut your emo ass up fakkit. This shyt ain't deep or none of that shyt. It's just some emo dude trying way too hard to be different and creating some weird sounding shyt. "new wave artist" wtf does that even mean?

I love this album, the kind of timeless music that will define eras of your life....The music is emotive, haunting, desperate, sexual, and insightful, the kind of tracks that connect with the listener in a way that transcends most artists, the music conveys the kind of anger, regret, vindictiveness, tinged with sadness and depravity that anyone with ANY depth to them will relate too, it's intimate and soulful music, honest and raw, uncompromising, Weeknd to me is an artist in the truest form of the word....anyone thinking this doesn't have depth is out of theirs, the music is a soundtrack for the love sick, the regretful, everyone that is just as fukked up and confused in relationships, man or women...it's unnerving how much the songs can effect and embody your feelings, in the same vein as rappers, and great musicians who seem to speak to us directly, who identify and relate to us thru artistic expression, though we have never met...this girl a long time ago told me she listened to music 'to help hear, feel and say the things she cannot', and I felt the same way, 'Kissland' cannot be a more perfect example of that for me....
