Optimism runs high in the Bay Area.

Particularly in Oakland — where Hall of Famer (as of this weekend) Gary Payton is from and where the Warriors still play. (And will for a few years at least, getting a new stadium built on the water in San Francisco is a Herculean task the owners undertook.)
Payton told Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com he is on the Warriors bandwagon.

Efficiency doesn't matter? I haven't even looked at the defensive efficiency numbers but I guarantee Iggy was more efficient offensively. How did Klay set the tone in that series?

We have a top 5 perimeter defender in Iggy, we have a top 5 post defender in Bogut. We ain't worried about nothing, you show me another team that can say they have the same besides Memphis.

Bogut is a good defender, but not top 5.....barely top 10.
