has been popping up a lot lately, mainly because of Trump's fukkery. Ironically it's a right wing fav.

Have you noticed whenever you raise concerns about the Trump administration's treatment of certain groups the right wing cacs rush to suddenly champion the rights of the disenfranchised esp African Americans?

It has become something of a classic smokescreen lately.

For example, I remember when companies were offering services to refugees caught by the Trump Muslim ban and right wingers/the alt right were using AAs as props and screaming that they needed assistance.

Now, I agree with that sentiment but why does it take something like that for you to champion the rights of AAs? They only conveniently remember the plight of fellow citizens when others they hate even more stand to gain something. Then suddenly the crocodile tears flow about "immigrants impacting black communities" "citizens need those resources" etc

I mean, when DONT they do that?

I see it happen a lot with people like Ann Coulter. I mean she came to a serious defense of black employment statistics in lieu of illegal immigration. I mean I agree with her on that topic, but its a common tactic.

They're smart.

They're evil minded.

But they're smart.

I appreciate the thread though...never got around to formalizing the notion.

Not just with black people, but with anything really

"Women in America have it easy, just look at these women in this 3rd world country who have it much harder!"

Then these motherfukkers are quick to say

":picard: A-America First!"

":picard: Build the wall!"

":picard: I support the troops!"

As if the right wing, it's leaders, it's supporters, cared about their own "poor white trash" (Prodigy "My World Is Empty), much less the concerns of any minorities, it's all a misdirection of selfishness and a validation of cruelty, "we have to take care of people at home first", except you don't, and all your policies are in opposition to that. An empty, and meaningless scale to support discrimination against refugees, and immigrants. We can do both, we can do it all, all this talk about "American exceptionalism" except when it comes to say humanitarian issues, poverty.
