It was actually kind of a terrible plan. Can't they track those keycards? Don't nice hotels have at least one camera on the floor, or at least by the elevators?

Apparently because of Covid and time constraints, they only had 2 months and filmed mostly off first draft scripts. That would explain how thin some of the character arcs are (like Paula and Momma Mossbacher). Now I wanna see what they'd do with a 2nd season. Same resort staff, new guests.

I don't think its stupid writing, just a stupid plan by the characters.
I don't expect them to get away cleanly, but they're dumb enough to think that it would work.
