Berbers are NOT a homogeneous group. There are some mixed ones, black and white. Though they have a homogeneous origin in East Africa. Most of the Berbers in Morocco like I stated are mixed due to foreign(European/Middle Eastern) immigration. Whether it be invasion, slavery or just plain migration. Berbers are not even limited to Morocco.

Didn't watch the whole thing. But its obvious looking at their customs a lot of that stuffs practised throughout Africa. Now that i think of it blacks are the only people who practice any of the customs still or ever.
It depends on what period of history you're talking about. Sometimes it was a catch all term for Muslims from North Africa (including non-Black ones, like most Berbers,) and other times it was a catch-all term for Black people in Europe and parts of the Middle East.
