At the end of the day he will still have to prove that he can win one without Wade just like Kobe did without Shaq. We will really know if he is the King or not when that happens.
So explain how kobe proving he can be the man is the same as lebron proving that some other sidekick is the same thing. You seem to forget who it is that's been the reason the heat are winning.

Half my writing got deleted. I was saying that somebody is gonna have to explain how kobe proving that he can be the alpha dog on a title team is the same as James having to win with a different sidekick are the same thing. No rush. I'll be waiting. :sas2:

A Wade that's getting his knee drained after every playoff game while bosh misses half the playoffs is the same thing? How about last year with bosh averaging something like 12 points a night while Wade gets about 16 a night and by every available measurement was a liability? Still not seeing what you're getting at. Last year winning in spite of Wade and bosh, and playing half the playoffs without him while Wade is hurt in 2012 should be proof enough. Willful ignorance is a sad thing.

You know what I'm talking about. Nba fans(Myself included) and NBA peers like Ray Allen doubted that Kobe would ever win an NBA title when Shaq left LA. Kobe proved to us all that this assessment was false and how great of an competitor he was. If we want to put that pressure on Kobe, then its only fair to put that pressure on Mr. King James , Mr. guard all five positions, Mr. best player on the planet currently, Mr. 4x MVP, and Mr 2x FMVP. With all these accomplishments, shouldn't he prove to us how great he is by winning it without Wade? I'm spitting truth, but ya don't want to hear me though!!!!!!

Your problem is you pay too much attention to stats. Stats don't show you what you see with the eye test. Wade had defining moments in all those finals that propelled them to win. Wade is a special player that shows up in the most important moments by winning you games that are difficult to win. Many players in the NBA do not have that quality. Lebron knows this, and that is why he chose to play with Wade.

Would Jordan have won titles without pippen? :stopitslime:

Are you serious? Jordan molded that young pup Pip that was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 87. Lebron did not mold an established player like Wade who already won a championship before teaming up with Bron. Keep being clueless by trying to play that game, but we know the facts and history already. Jordan invested alot of time in molding Pip and losing to the Pistons multiple times so they could go on their run to win six championships when their opportunity was open. Please don't compare this situation to that situation because it does not add up.

Obviously my respect (and the respect of everybody in here) matters or else you nikkas wouldn't be so butthurt about what we say :smugbiden: you want our respect....you want everyone to kneel down, kiss the ground Lebron walks on and say he's better than Mike/Kobe but there's a large portion of the basketball watching population that will NEVER respect dude no matter how many "at age 29 Lebron has" segments ESPN crams down our throat and that makes you LIVID :pachaha: Deal with it breh.

If Michael Jordan was such the ultimate unwavering competitor, why'd he threaten immediate retirement to block Pippen trade to Boston in 97? MJ won those rings by himself right?

I remember that trade talk. Pippen for a coupla top 10 picks. :ohhh:

You gotta have teammates to win. And based on the evidence in this thread I'm led to believe LeBron is the best teammate of all. He makes any team an instant contender and he apparently made Antawn Jamison look like Scottie Pippen and Mo Williams look like Joe Dumars in Cleveland. Then he proceeded to make Dwyane Wade into Magic and Bosh into Bird. :lupe:

And that's just to hear the haters tell it. :wow:

Inside the numbers we see Wade and Bosh's FG percentage steadily going up every year. :ehh:

And still he leads this "Super Team", in scoring, rebounds, assists and steals every year in the playoffs. :banderas:

Keep spitting those false lies on here, but Lebron will still have to prove one day that he can win one without Wade. If he can't do that, then even a stan like you(by your avy) will have to start questioning him.

Detroit had no stars..They won it all with good players..

they had better than just "good" players breh.... billups, hamilton, wallace 1 and 2, and okur have all been nba all-stars..... then they still had prince and mike james.

thats about as stacked a team as you can get
