On the real. I was trying to convince my daughter to get one so I could play it. But she ain't even want one. And none of her friends seem to either. So if thats the main audience it may be a fail. 8-12 year old kids.

They failed to realize that the Wii was a one time success. They're about to feel the drawbacks of solely going after casual gamers... Casuals cop the new popular shyt with no loyalty..No reason to release another one without completely changing the game again. There's no real incentive for people to upgrade. The old people that copped one aren't gonna upgrade and the 4-8 year olds that fueled the sales are now 9-13 and are gonna be interested in that 720 and PS4.

its kinda sad that the measure of success is that the product should be unavailable on retail shelves. by that standard all Nintendo has to do is dial back shipments and let the demand become higher than the supply and its a rousing success.

Where are ya'll located because I went to 2 Gamestops, 2 Targets and 1 Walmart all conveniently located by my crib seein if they had one in stock before I had Target and Gamestop check the rest of the stores in the area and call one, and checked online for the Wii U at walmarts in my city.
I checked Walmarts to see if I could do an exchange since mine is broke and I havent had it a full month, and I was checkin Targets and Gamestops to see if they had just the power plug and I knew if Gamestop had 1 in stock that I could atleast bring mine in and they could hook it up to see if it worked or not.
The gamestops in my area dont even have the demo stations anymore just walls and a couple bins of games and accessories. Not only did they not have one that they could use for demos or testing but they were out of stock until maybe before christmas until they get more from Nintendo.
