Not from this show I don't think but he's definitely done it at other award shows. Anorexic jokes about Fiona Apple (she responded by saying he looks like a burnt match, racist as fukk), fat jokes about Rick Ross, etc.

If you watch the full segment, you'll see Chris was laughing it up with Denzel, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem talking about their performances and possible awards and then out of nowhere just makes an insult about Jada.

Almost like he was instructed or remembered he had to do it.

Like you would have thought he would have said something about Will as everyone who is was talking about prior was up for an award that night. But he ignores Will says the comment about Jada and then was going to get back on topic.

That's how I know what he did really came from The Academy.

But it DIDN’T come from the Academy. Thats what makes it so egregious and out of line. The joke wasn’t in the original script or plans for Rock’s portion of the segment. Wasn’t on the teleprompter. Rock did that shyt because he FELT like it and people are kind of overlooking that he went out of his way to shyt on Jada when it wasn’t necessary at ALL.

This wasn’t sanctioned by the Academy, this was personal. Maybe it goes back to 2016 with his jokes at Jada’s expense and Will might have checked him behind closed doors and Chris wanted to try him. Who knows? But it was definitely a personal attack when there was literally no need to go at Jada at ALL during the ceremony

:wow: Either A Time to Kill, Pulp Fiction or Django. And I know some people take issue with the premise of Django but bruh he played theeee hell out of that role. "Yessssuh, Monsieur Candaaay" :mjlol:. Brilliant comedic and dramatic acting at the same time. And wasn't even nominated for it.
