Season 3 is slighty better but it really depends on when you began watching the show. A lot of people began with the show in Season 4 so naturally it is there favorite season. A lot of folks who began watching from the start have always said 1 or 3 is their favorite

I watched it from episode 1 season 1 EVERY SUNDAY, never missed an episode. Once Season 3 started and HBO was putting the episodes ondemand A WEEK IN ADVANED I had a Comcast box put in my bedroom WHILE STILL PAYING FOR DIRECTTV just so I could them in advance and Season 4 has always been the best season imo.

Season 3 was classic but Season 4 had so much shyt goin on and so many different stories it was crazy. You had the kids, Omar, Broddie beefin wit Marlo, Marlo saying fukk everyone but his crew, the politics etc. that shyt was epitome of writing and story telling in an episodic television show.

Oh and y'all wonder why Bmore looked like shyt...it's because they didn't change a thing about it. Look back at season one and they met up at "Mt. Claire parking lot", that shyt was off of Carey St. which at one time was one of the (if not the hottest) spots to cop heroin back then. There was a Safeway Grocery Store and GameStop (that I was a manager at) in that shopping center which are both gone now. Everything you saw on that show was 100% authentic. I hate Bmore and mostly everything about it but this show is in the top five of all time

Season 4 was better...

It was great the way they showed how those little kids end up as the next Bubs, Marlo's, Avon, Omar's, and Politicians...

Season 4 was the beginning of a new cycle...

Season 4. The way they brought the kids/education system into it was

Season 4 was probably my favorite overall but just barely. Three was the shyt to that turned me into a fiend.

The only thing that bothered me about season 3 was when Stringer wanted the hit put on Clay Davis, and Slim Charles immediately knowing he was senator. Just didn't seem right.
