Arguably the most polarizing season (acclaimed by critics/lukewarm reception with the series fans)
But most of the criticism I see reads like this: "Season 2 was wack because CAC's were such a big focal point of the season
"
Which I find to be hysterical considering that Season 4 is The Wire's most acclaimed season. A season where a political campaign lead by a CAC was a major plotline of the season.
Anyways, back to appreciating this underrated season. Probably the best portrayal of detective work I have ever seen.
Each season of The Wire does a certain aspect better than the other, and the police work in this season was at the series' best.
