Just beat this game, and I got the worse ending. I'm salty as hell. I spent mad hours playing this.

It's in Zerrikania.
It does. But I don't think it ties into the main story in any meaningful way.
It kinda can't, since you can play it before or after the end.

Base level of the expansion is 30+
So it's meant to be played towards the end/after the end. But the contract that opens the quest is immediately available, same as any other despite your level.

I finally got to race at crow's perch and got the "beat all races" achievement
