This is a remake I can understand. The first witcher was rough. You could tell it was their first shot at a game and through the series you could see they worked on improving until Witcher 3 which is a masterpiece relatively speaking.

So if they remake 1 and use it as an opportunity to further improve from Witcher 3, I'll buy.

This game originally came out over 15 years ago. Technology has changed lots since then. Witcher 3 was a huge open world game.

This game was relegated to small individual levels. And to be honest it wasn’t that good. Story was worth a playthrough, but the gameplay was kinda shytty.

Would definitely be worth it if they modernized the game and made it closer to Witcher 3 in gampeplay.

Now if they just drop the same game with “more graphics” then nah we ain’t supporting that
