So OP, I'm guessin' u see Wall droppin' 20-10, Nene' givin' 33 mins, Seraphin developin' a consistent post game and jumpshot, Okafor droppin' 10-10, McLemore/Porter contributin' right away, and pickin' up a backup 1 like Eric Maynor. I just don't see all of this happenin'. But Wall will be an All-Star if the team stays healthy. :ehh:

Wall 20 and 10 is easy goal, just as long as the rest of the team shows up

We don't need 33min from Nene, we just need him to keep teaching players like Seraphin how to be aggressive.

Seraphin does have a consistent post game, that's his strength. His jumper is really decent too, entering year 3 he's made improvements each year he's been in the league.

Okafor once he was healthy was more closer to a 14-14 type guy. 10-10 shows me you know nothing about this team outside of what ESPN told you

As for the rest of the team, a new year makes all our younger players better. Bradley Beal,#3 pick, Chris Singleton, Martell Webster, Trevor Ariza, Trevor Booker are the other role players who if was given starter minutes would contribute more than D.Wade does (him now) all of those named can give you kwali Leonard type contributions :obama:

Nene is the only consistent low-post/pick-n-pop presence, Seraphin's range outside the paint is best-case scenario questionable :what: has a mechanical post game outside of his stellar hook, but is lazy, unmotivated, is a terrible rebounder and defender :what: :scusthov: and 10-10 for Okafor is a realistic expectation, when, facts and much larger sample sizes tell u Okafor hasn't been a double double machine since Charlotte, has NEVER averaged 14 boards :what: :what: :what: :mindblown: hasn't averaged 14 points in six years :what: and don't have the development personnel to reliably make the bench players servicable and productive :what:

It's not an easy goal. Nobody did it this season.

Nobody did it last season.

Nene has dealt with complacency issues through his career. And hardly has the skillset worth of "teaching" others.

Seraphin does have a consistent post game, that's his strength. His jumper is really decent too, entering year 3 he's made improvements each year he's been in the league.

He's entering year 4.

Okafor is no longer even a plus defender, and he's still incompetent with the ball. He's no longer a starting-caliber forward.

As for the rest of the team, a new year makes all our younger players better.
No automatically.

Bradley Beal,#3

Chris Singleton,
Can't score the ball.

Martell Webster,
Strictly a shooter, but a good shooter.

Trevor Ariza,
Hasn't developed in 5 years, is barely a rotation SF now

Trevor Booker
Can't score the ball.

are the other role players who if was given starter minutes would contribute more than D.Wade does (him now)

Wade Averaged 21/5/5 this season.

all of those named can give you kwali Leonard type contributions :obama:

Leonard is Younger and better than every player you mentioned in that last group. And the Wizards, ain't the spurs.

Okafor is still a very good defender. He and Nene anchored the 5th best defense in the entire NBA last season. Ariza is still good on the wings defending as well.

Wizards are devoid of efficient scorers.

He's still an okay defender. He's a non-factor in help, but can man up.

The fact is, when you play the two of them together, it cripples your offense. And the rest of their bench players can't score a basket.

It's a crappy roster. period.

he's a lot better in help than you give credit for... i watched all the games breh... he's light years ahead of Seraphin's lazy content self

But yes, there's a lack of spacing with both of them together. Okafor is dared to take the mid range shot and he misses much more than he makes. Nene is the same way though he was more efficient offensively even last year when he got traded.

We need a stretch 4 but we ain't getting it any time soon.

Gotta disagree on Okafor not being a good defender anymore. Wiz had a Top 5 D this year and Emeka was a big part of that.
