Sting turning on The Giant and siding with the Red & Black was one of my favorite moments in wrestling history. Like you said it made no sense, but as a 10 year-old that didn't matter at all.

That monster pop when Sting showed off that Wolfpack shirt :jamesbrown:
i remember watching that live :wow:

when he showed the black n white shirt i was like NOOOOO :damn:

then he scoop slammed the Giant :banderas:

then struggled to rip the shirt to reveal the Wolfpac colors :snoop:

Sting seemed like he was having the time of his life during the wolfpac era. It made little sense for him to join an nWo faction :heh: but I damn sure rocked with it tho
The way it was explained was he was tired of being on his own and wanted to have fun again. Luger was his best friend and made the hard push and then Nash saved him from The Giant. Dude looked legit happy when he was with them

It kept the nWo fresh...they NEEDED that to keep things going. The whole we're taking over was getting old as hell. Hell I remember in HS(yeah I'm old) during football practice we had groups that claimed black and white and groups that claimed red and black. They were over as hell man.

The wolfpac were just as over as goldberg.

I was a wolfpac stan back then. I hated wwf.

And kevin nash was and the wolfpac were #1 in my eyes. I went i to the nash vs goldberg matching cheering for nash and so did a lot of the fans.

Konnan had the crowds lit back then. Sting joining made no sense but wcw was still on fire then and the crowds loved almost everything they did.
