concussions and collisions. very dangerous. i played like 1 half of goalie, kept a clean sheet and told the coach to cause i wasn't about that life.

Seems like playing forward (i'm guessing that what the position is called) would be more dangerous. Everytime there's a corner and I see the players go up for a header, I always anticipate a head to head collision. Just saw a replay where a player trying to head the ball barely dodged a fist by Hope solo, just to take a shoulder to the chin by another player.

forwards got it's danger elements too but it's also got the glory of scoring goals and stunting

goalie you gotta be worried about fighting through 2 teams worth of players to get to a ball. folks coming in like missiles at you. people all around your feet and shyt. you have to block out so much mentally to play it confidently.
