I could be wrong, but why does possession matter here? Uruguay got up early and is now sitting back on their lead, waiting to strike off the counter or off the occasional press of Portugal's defenders/keeper. Possession doesn't mean much if you can't do anything with it because you can't break down a defense, right?

Defense is their strength. Portugal has penetrated them at all.

They defend and hit you on the counter and set pieces.
