Xavi's vision and execution>>>>>
Prime Iniesta could pass as well but he could dribble like a funambulist on top of that. And Iniesta has several iconic goals that make me appreciate him more. To each his own again.

Prime Iniesta could pass, but Xavi's vision and his ability to execute certain passes was next level incredible.

De Brunye is the only guy I see doing that consistently.

Thiago Alacantara was supposed to be the next Xavi but injuries has made him fall off the face of the Earth.
He was really good under ancelotti but Bayern want to offload him to get rid of peps influence

This is not even real tiki-taka tbf. This some diet off-brand version, Cruyff turning in his grave :hhh:

I dont know why Spain plays with a high line considering their CBs are washed now and don't have the pace to track back. I think they could get exposed against a team with strong counter attacks like Mexico

People get too seduced by tricks, flicks and dribbles. The hardest thing to do besides scoring goals is to keep the ball circulating and dictating the tempo of play.
Why Pirlo and Xavi were the last of a dying breed of midfielders. Both were sensational.
