Jesus every ad is a gambling ad in England. :russ::mjlit:
We’re making bank betting on all these games. I’ve made around £140 profit this World Cup so far. Made huge losses on Germany and Spain but it’s been great otherwise. God bless Bet 365 and William Hill :pachaha:

England actually have less unlikeable players in their team than previous years with Beckham, Terry etc

It’s the commentators I can’t stand

I was about to support them too till I heard fans sing:

“God save the queen”

“Rule Britannia, rule the waves, we will never be slaves” :francis:

And just like that I’m reminded of what kind of people they are

This may be the best England team I've seen in recent memory. I'm talking better than the Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Ferdinand, Terry et al generation. They are more team-oriented and play a very fluid brand of football. They are strong on the ground, strong in the air and quality at the set pieces. That said, their defense has not been tested whatsoever in this game. Colombia has looked nervy and lacking ideas.

This game though is on a knife edge. When you are in the ascendancy (especially against a team that has played as poorly as Colombia has) you need to capitalize. I can see a 1-0 winning this game for either side. One team is probably going win off of the other team's mistake.

So, it's coming home?

I can't live in a world where in living memory the English have won World Cup

Easily

Them brehs used to look uncomfortable to be out there. They were expecting the eventual loss and it was usually a self-fulfilling prophecy.

These lot look more confident.

Columbia needs to push more attackers forward, if they get one goal I’m sure England led morale will shatter.
