Man, this is what happened when national teams had real identities. Brazil ain't played like Brazil since Ronaldinho went back home and Kaka hung it up. 14 out of the 23 players from the 2002 winning team played IN BRAZIL.

I understand things change and the whole world has become global, but Brazil is a perfect example of losing your identity as a team.
Dunga fukked them up when he tried to make defensive. But they just don't produce magicians like they used too.

These soccer threads really be exposing the cacs among us.

How can you not have a team with root for with France still left in the tournament? They are essentially an African all-star team. We also got Belgium who is also a largely black team.

I'm just pissed they stuck Belgium and France on the same side. Woulda loved to see them in the Final rather than the semifinals.

I have only caught one French game this tournament, against Australia, where they were absolutely terrible and lucky to get 3 points instead of 1.

My thoughts based on that is they're a typical boring European team who are cautious and defensive, and lack the attacking flair and mentality of true African teams and South American teams. Peru and Senegal were the most thrilling teams to watch, although a bit frustrating because they lacked that clinical touch in the final third. Nonetheless they played football in the right spirit with the right mentality. Euro teams play so defensively which is astonishing given how superior they are. It's just cowardice.

Of the remaining European teams the only ones I've seen who I found a decent watch is Croatia. Rakitic and Modric are godly in midfield. Though I concede the French might actually be alright, I might have just seen them at their worst.

Stop chat fukkery! Suarez ravished the EPL when he was there! And I dis like this vampire even when he played for my team with a passion but facts are facts!

Suarez was fukking unstoppable......Damn shame what happened to Sturridge though. He fell all the way off after the national team overused him and got him hurt.

harry kane, a player who has no vision, creativity or dribbling talent? :pachaha:

lukaku has been dominating the premier league (the best league in the world) since he was 18 years old

I don’t know what you’ve been watching for the past 5 or so years but Lukaku isn't even the best Premier League striker

But that’s not disrespect to him. I’m a United fan but been watching him since he was at Chelsea

Seeing this makes me wonder why my parents decided to immigrate to the states instead of France or Belgium.
Same language due to colonisation.

Closer proximity.

It’s harder to get citizenship in America than most European countries.

Edit: I read the post completely wrong. I was listing reasons why it’s easier to emigrate from African countries to France/Belgium.
