Always found it odd; that England has no "African-English" players on their squad or hardly any successful ones in the league. While the opposite happens in France.

Because there is no such thing as African English

It's just an immigration thing where a lot of black people you see are born in England and not in Africa/Caribbean.

If you want the true answer it lays outside of sport and immigration benefits/disadvantages of UK vs continental Europe

Yall gotta be trolling or have never been to either France or the UK In fact black/African/Caribbean culture probably has a more visible presence in UK music/entertainment etc than it does France, especially in London. Hell Ive heard this directly from French brehs I met at the Notting Hill festival last summer for example. The high rate of mixed marriage with Caribbeans doesnt disprove this either.

A lot of mental gymnastics to explain why supporting France is OK, while supporting England is not. Just admit its about one being much better.

Kante ain't gonna be MOTM against England. England will be on their backfoot majority of the game. One of France attacking players or Pogba will be the motm. Kante ain't gonna have shyt to do besides the occasional counter attacking breakup. Neither will any of Belgium's cm be motn if they face off against England

France has the best youth development system in the world. Theres a reason there were 30 French players on teams outside of France in this World Cup.

Englands system is improving and they have tons of players with African roots in the pipeline. Just look at the names on the roster that won the U-20 World Cup last year:Who are England's World Cup winners? U20 squad profiled


Onomah, Lookman, Solanke, Ojo, Ejaria, Konsa. Thats not even counting the Caribbean players on the team.
