If Germany get knocked out they join 2002 France, Italy 2010 & 2014 Spain as the WOAT Word Cup holders......actually dunno if they're worse than Italy 2010 or France 02 :hhh:
depends on this match and the South Korea game
Italy 2010 was genuinely one of the worst teams in that tournament.

Kroos is now playing DM. I don't know anyone besides Loew who thinks it's even remotely possible for him to put in a shift there. The second Rudy got hurt Loew threw this game into the bushes in a way I haven't seen in years.
I am not even shytting on Kroos. Kroos, like you said, is forced to do something he isn't supposed to do. Loew a fraud and was living off the greatness of a GOAT generation. Kroos aint ever been that total CM but this isn't fair on him.

But Ozil>Kroos playing further up to create.

I've been trying to rationalize Low putting on Gundogan and having Kroos play DM for like 20 minutes now, and I just can't do it. I'm no footballing genius or anything of the sort, but there had to be better options there even if those options are a couple of young dudes and/or Khedira.

shyt was nonsensical. :mindblown:

German team just lacks motivation.
And historically Germany almost never wins the second group game, guess it's a wrap for them :yeshrug:

And why isn't Goretzka playing? :stopitslime:

Everything seems setup for a Brazil or Portugal triumph

The Traps of Unified Korea
I hope after this tournament the landscape of football changes, away from midfielders playing up front or a false number 9s.

Back to having real proper strikers that are severely lacking at the top level also playing 2 up top actually taking shots not a hundred passes left and right just to run the ball out.
Every game thus far, including this one, has been a textbook case of numbers in the midfield and you think managers are going to go back to 2 up top?

The future of the game is players that are even more versatile and less specialized, not the opposite

Brazil can only win if Neymar stops trying to dominate play. Portugal is just a one man team

I like France or Belgium... Mexico and England look like dark horses

Germany needs to stop having these center backs bring the ball up... They don’t have a fukking midfielder to do that?

Breh I'm sayyinnggg :mindblown:

Jerome and Rudiger almost playing as CMs. And that Kimmich kid is just being a liability, thinking he's a right back Messi :snoop:
This slow ass Swedish side catching you on the counter :deadmanny:
