You've run into the wrong Israelis then breh. There are a LOT of Israelis who are against what their country is doing, who have formed advocacy groups alongside Palestinians, etc. They're just not in the majority. In my experience Israelis themselves are much more realistic and open about the situation than the American right-wing is.

This one has a lot of interesting answers, including that 30% of Israeli Jews think that Palestinians just want peace. Only 28% of Israeli Jews say that a Jewish majority is their greatest priority and 19% picked "Greater Israel", while 29% said that peace was their greatest priority and 16% said democracy was the greatest priority.

I've found Russians and southern Whites to be more in denial about their collective sins than Israelis. But even in those groups you find plenty of people willing to stand up to their culture. Among Serbians though...man, I don't know, maybe I just haven't met the right ones yet.
