I don't get the Blaisou and Giroud hate

Matuidi's a worker, unselfish, make runs to provide space and opportunities for others, can cross, press from first to last minute, is humble and goes hard for the NT. He was trash against Peru but he was playing as a winger (!) so he could provide support to Hernandez against Peru's right side. I guess we played better today when he wasn't in the squad. The problem of France is not one player, it's the system in which we play.

Giroud can play passing football as he links very well as a pivot with a second striker (Grizzi) but also a crossing target as he's very good with header and positioning. He's slow, a bit too soft and not a great striker by any means but he has always delivered with the NT. Works hard and he has the ability to score wondergoals out of thin air.

We have flashy players we need unselfish workers to balance the team.

I feel like people hate Giroud because he's not Benzema. I still can't understand why he was fukking with that whole blackmail plot ,but people want him back in the team. Also if you look at Giroud scoring rate it's pretty good, as you said he's not flashy but he gets the job done.

You already know it's gonna be 85 minutes of crosses going to Giroud and the tiebreaker will be whomever makes a play first between Pogba and Messi. France is held back by the coach. Argentina is held back by the old men in their back line, but ya'll coach will make it easy for them.

Can someone tell me where all this hopelessness against Columbia is coming from? Senegal looked way too sloppy against South Korea but Columbia isn't THAT good, and all they need is a draw. I wouldn't pick Senegal to win, but it's still a winnable game if they show out and definitely a drawable one.

And I have Poland taking out South Korea just like they took out the USA in the third game in 2002. Poland has been off form but they're a much better team than the Koreans and will be playing for pride.

If I had to make a random guess, Senegal loses 2-1 but advances anyway when Korea loses 3-1.
