You have a point but Colombia needed a win today. Senegal has the best defense in Africa. So that will be a tough physical game. And Poland is a deep squad with Lewandowski on the lead. They have a strong midfield and defense. Colombia has to hope Poland vs Senegal is tied. I still have them getting out the group but it’s going to much harder now and they aren’t the same team they were four years ago. They have declined the last four years.

I wanted Colombia to win, but if it means an African country (Senegal) has a better chance of advancing, oh well...

This result is great for Senegal. As long as they beat Poland, they have a good chance of finishing 1st in this group. And that will be critical cause whoever wins this group gets to avoid Belgium (who is winning group G) and will instead play England and also be on the easier side of the knockout bracket.

Senegal can make it to the Semi-Finals if they can win Group H.

Its an open group if you ask me. Colombia is best on paper but they've just lost. Japan probably worst on paper but they've just won. Poland is meh, so is Senegal.
