Nigeria should not be afraid of mentally fragile Argentina. As long as they stay disciplined and dont fukk up and lose messi, they should be fine

while i was happily surprised by today's results, i dont see how Argentina can lose against Nigeria on Tuesday. I dont see it.

Argentina aint trying to be embarrassed by Nigeria. And you add to that, Nigerians ( or most west african teams for that matter) always appear to be enamored by these european/south american (non-black) players. In the iceland match, a nigerian player and a icelandic player collided and are on the ground. guess who this light skinned fuccktard on the nigerian team extended his hand to? *hint* not his nigerian team mate.

with that type of mentality and trying to be buddy buddy with your opponent, u aint winnning sh1t. yall can talk all you want about how bad argentina has played so far. they played against other european teams that didnt suffer from any type of inferiority complex and played with heart.

i expect Nigeria to show up for the Argentina game looking for a messi autograph.

Nah man.

Last World cup Musa went toe to toe with Argentina. Argentina's back line isn't as strong as 4 years ago and their midfield has holes. Ndidi, Otebo and Mikel have energy to run hard through the center.

Where we could be faulty is that last 10 mins where defensive errors could be the downfall.

Pressure bursts pipes and Nigeria has given away 2 cheap penalties in 2 games.

We can match up very very well with Argentina. We just need to play for the win, not to tie.

Also, maybe it's the Brexit/Trump era we're in but Senegal beating Poland and Nigeria beating Iceland aren't upsets.

A lot of these European teams and players are overrated because we see them week in, week out and watch the European championships.

Haven't seen this , but did you see Caballero yesterday?
dude was in the penalty area with a clear shot on goal or even a pass to his teammate who was 10 yards to his right

Instead he plays a cross out wide. The decision he made, you would not have thought it would be imaginable unless you were trolling in FIFA.

To put it in classic English football lingo.

'He didn't want it lads'

It's that european arrogance, they consider every non european team underdogs besides Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay

and it doesnt help that last three winners of world cup are euros

Group D is wide open still, makes sense for Croatia to rest there starters against iceland. Giving them a chance

Nigeria could well beat Argentina but if Argentina does win. They would have to hope for at least for a 2 goal win to sneak in
