don't know who to root for in the Colombia v Poland now

Won't Colombia be eliminated if they lose? They'll take on Senegal next and probably lose again.

if this result holds up, this is an L for non-football fan coli dudes that think athleticism is what separates players / teams.

Basketball fans should know this, a game where fundamentals trumps athleticism. When the Cavs made that trade in February, people were talking about them possible winning the Finals because they got “younger and more athletic” but that athleticism wasn’t enough because they got swept.

Yeah, I'm gonna need Poland to beat or draw Colombia. Then Poland beat Japan. Senegal then just have to draw Colombia.

Alternatively, Colombia losing to Poland and then jobbing to Senegal would be great.

I feel disgusting doing it but I'm going to be cheering for Poland today. Someone give me a better reason to do so because it feels wrong. Colombia has the better bytches so you can't use women to convince me.

That's because Japan was the better team technically speaking. The game should have been 4-2 in Japan's favor tbh. Japan has unperformed every world cup game because of their size to be honest. They get muscled off the ball easily but when it comes to ball movement/ball possession they are solid.

Senegal fukked around and didn't pick up 3 points. I thought their midfield play was solid today, if they had any finishers they could've put that game to bed. They will have issues defending against speedy wingers and any midfield that can spray passes out to the flanks.

First world cup I ever watched was 1994 as a kid, that to me will always be the best WC ever.

The more I watch teams in this world cup the more I get a feeling that we might see a first time world cup winner.

Serious question for the world football fans. Where does this world cup rank to others? Almost every game has been lit this year

These group stages have definitely been one of the most entertaining ones I've known
