It's crazy how slower they are than in Brazil. It was already the case in France 2 years ago though

The game has become more athletic since Brasil and the pass pass pass style of play has been found out at international competition level. And when you team is carrying Khedira, Kroos, Ozil and Muller, with the game being more quicker, than 4 years ago they been exposed especially with no legs around them. You just cannot play all 4 together anymore.

If this Sweden/Mexico game stays 1-0, AND Germany wins 1-0, Sweden and Germany move on, Mexico is out

Germany and Sweden win 1-0

All of Germany, Sweden and Mexico would then be tied with six points, a plus-one goal differential and three goals scored. Each would have three points in games played against each other and an even goal differential against each other. In the next tiebreaker, Germany and Sweden would have two goals in games between the three teams, while Mexico would only have one. That puts Germany and Sweden through to the knockouts, with Germany getting the top seed thanks to their three points from Saturday.

Mexico will equalize, they are finding a lot of space on the wings.

Finally Gomez is on so Timo goes out wide and Goretzka can play in his natural position.
