Costa off when they could be put into a position where they need a quick goal :patrice:. Guess tiki taka level 2 engaged. They gonna have 80% possession by the end with 2 corner kicks won :scust:

this is why i hope france or brazil win.

football needs to move on from this tiki taka shyt and people need to stop trying to replicate it.

bring on pace, individuality, and fancy dribbling.

The Akinfeev I see in this World Cup isn’t the Akinfeev I see in the champions league

Ramos isn't that great of a defender tbh. Great footballer, but has relied on his athleticism for too long, to get out of trouble for his bad positioning.
Thank you, people seem to think he is somehow a great defender. I still remember him at right back leaving holes for teams to exploit:scust: and Welbeck being too hot for him:scust:

Don Andrés better and more enjoyable to watch :yeshrug:
Funny how Iniesta and Messi never been past the CL quarterfinals without Xavi.

Let's not even mention whose the better leader. With Sir Charles and Icon Iker bringing Spain together after decades of infighting.

:sas2:
Casillas and Puyol credited for stopping the fighting. Xavi not a leader like that.

And the quarter finals doesn't say much since we haven't seen Xavi and Messi without Iniesta. Maybe it would have been worse. And let's not act like Barca have been struggling  They just won la liga and almost went undefeated. And Iniesta old now anyways, im talking prime iniesta :ohlawd:

They were both great and complemented each other. But Iniesta was my favorite player growing up after Ronaldinho so maybe i'm biased

They won the champions final in 2015 without Xavi starting

Iniesta is comfortably superior to Xavi

:mjlol:

Xavi was still part of the squad, doesn't matter if he was starting or not. You cannot undermine the leadership Xavi bought to the table and be unable to explain why Barca and Spain haven't looked the same since he's left, when they playing in tournament KO football.
