Same here. I don't think I can handle an English win.

England haven't done shyt since 1966 yet they still manage to be as insufferable as ever come World Cup/ Euro time. So I don't even want to imagine how they'd behave if they won the whole thing again.

Sorry, bruhs, but in the 21st century, the Caribbean stanning of Brazil and Argentina has gotten pathetic. Especially among Haitians. Hopefully this will be another thing solved by WC expansion - having Brazil and Jamaica or Haiti drawn into a group and the islanders getting a whooping in front of the whole world would slap some sense into these unbearable stans.

My pops is from Haiti and in the 70s the black athletes they looked up to was Ali and Pele. Haitians are very Afro centric and support Brazil because black excellence is the reason why they won many trophies. Plus Haiti was in a World Cup 1978 and they supported the team 100%. I don’t know what is the big deal.

Sweden is effectively a BYE for their next round opponents. While I respect their determination, they just don't have the talent to take them further than the quarter-finals.

This post would be valid if the brackets wound up somewhat balanced ... but just look at the path. Colombia/England, then either Croatia or Russia in a semifinal.
