The world mostly outsourced its factories to China. China has full districts, full cities that are known to have specific types of factories. They’re all organized. Because the world outsourced their factory there. Most brands. Most upstarts. And they make their own products. But the idea is they make their own products and they make your products
Having factory’s suck. Think about it. The world often readily acknowledges China’s working conditions as slave labor … but many point to a higher quality of life for the people there. I don’t know, haven’t been there and can’t say but what I can say is ..all I know is the people making iPhones
And apparently they have more skilled labor there so that’s why iPhones are made there and its even doubtful if they can be made to the same quality standard in India
Contrary to intuition, the higher value Nike shoes are actually made in China, due to higher skillsets there. The lesser valued ones are made in Vietnam
Having factories pollute everything around and create large environmental imprint that extend to the vibe and generations of cultures literally born into the societal framework where they will be set to work in these factories. Think about it. They might not know anything else.
