I will say boomers and greatest generation especially were better at doing the little things it takes to keep a community together. Not nearly as selfish as millennials or Gen-Z. Or better yet boomers wish they could have been as selfish as millennials but the culture didn't allow it yet.

If our generations don't shape up over the next decade our country will be even more atomized and more cultural institutions will slowly die off.

I disagree with this assessment but for a different reason. Children are the products of their parents. Those Boomers had children who will be just as selfish, just as wasteful, and just as racist as their parents. They may express those attributes in a different manner than their predecessors, but the general proclivities will be the same. Those children of Boomers will have their own children who will be a reflection of their parents, who are again a reflection of the Boomers. So on and so forth down the generations.

My point is do not expect a reprieve from this negativity to come from generations produced by the generation you hate. Generation after generation of our people have thought that the next generation out of evil will be better, generation after generation of our people have found out that we were wrong. So instead, what we should be focused on is making ourselves more powerful economically and politically.

The keys to power can only be given and taken, and the children of those with the keys of power will become just like their predecessors in order to hold onto those keys. Once we understand that fact, then we can move forward with plans and programs designed to gain the keys for our people.
