Actually let me add something else.

I remember a similar thread on SOHH talking about Goku could defeat any character from Marvel. Something like that. Which is because there is several god-tier characters in Marvel Comics that could kill him without even breaking a sweat.

Goku is cool and all that but sometimes you fanboys go way overboard with the shyt.

By that logic Spiderman is as powerful as Silver Surfer. He's obviously not, and the only reason to make them equal in a fight is because it's entertaining.

The only reason Darkseid can defeat Superman is because it's entertaining. 20 pages of Superman beating the breaks off of Darkseid wouldn't sell.

Given their respective powers Goku is nowhere near Superman. Not even remotely close, from any point of view. And I'm not sure why we wouldn't use Silver Age Superman, since people always use all kinds of random non-canon versions of Goku, or list all kinds of specific circumstances with other people helping him or giving him kryptonite, or whatever the fukk.

Both of these characters at their peak, Goku would get destroyed.
