I'll never forget this dude's babyface comeback in matches was just multiple bodyslams followed by screaming. He was buns as a face. He would have fared better in powerhouse Road Warriors style tag team.

He was better as Brian Kendrick’s heavy than he was when he went solo. They had no actual plan for him and really never let him develop. Vince probably had Ahmed Johnson vibes just cause he was black, muscular, and wore red. His matches were just body slams, clotheslines, and the Torture Rack. He flourished in Lucha Underground though. It’s amazing how a person can look when they’re not micromanaged.

Yea Albert’s reign was pretty insignificant, but I did enjoy that little field he had with cane around that time. A couple nice hose battles, plus the 2001 crowds were still rabid
