i too am awaiting zerodark30 to come out before i finalize any list i make. if u havent given it a chance, watch les miserables. i only watched it bc my paps is obsessed with the story and play. took him to see it expecting to despise a 3 hour musical and came out loving it.

Have to disagree on Cloud Atlas.
Was a gorgeous movie with very talented actors/actresses.
If that movie sucked then you might as well add Dredd too.

This may not be the worst but most disappointing for me was Taken 2, given how much I loved the first one.

Worst Movies of 2012 (that i've seen)


Haywire - all around bad acting; action was so-so
The Woman in Black - had potential but went nowhere
Ghost Rider 2 - no one except stringer bell tried to be interesting. I found it funny how they showed the ending to this in the gotdamn trailer
Wrath of the Titans - great graphics; story was butchered
This is 40 - it was like they decided to ad-lib the whole moves
Taken 2 - this shyt was so lame; it had none of the go hard factor that the first one had.

Cabin in the Woods was terrible. I didn't know what to expect going into the movie but I was legit angry after watching it. Also had one of the worst endings ever.

Les Mis was ALMOST a great movie.

With a better director and someone to play Javert who can actually sing, it could've been pretty special. As it was, it was intermittently brilliant but overall a bit taxing.

Worst movie I saw in theaters was Spiderman. Retread of the first, so bland, none of the action was memorable, corny, just a terrible movie to me. I can't believe how positive the critical response was.

Immortals sucked IMO. Probably the worst I've seen. Haven't seen much movies this year TBH but that stuck out to me. Not even sure if it came out this year but my level of care is pretty low.
