Yeah, i mean i don't mind him doing it like he did with MVP/Hardy and Santino that one time. WM is 4 hours and won't hurt to have it in. But keep that shyt far away from the main event storylines if you can't follow up on it.

I predicted that HBK and Rock would be in the ring and I still say there will be a standoff in the ring to make the crowd go insane.

Its Wrestlemania. Mania will have wild moments. WWE knows they will never deliver this match up but a face off would not do any harm. Its like the best thing you can do without having them face each other. Its not going to take anything away from anyone. Not going to steal any spotlights. its just an added bonus.

its a moment for the fans, especially the ones in attendance. the payoff is that special moment you only get at wrestlemania. its just a quick spot, its not hurting anyone......as it wouldn't lead to the deciding pin.
Oh did he? I love how the Kliq and Cener stans both love to take credit for the WM 23 buyrate, knowing full got damn well it was #Trumpset that moved that number. And WM 24 Cena wasn't even the main event, it was Undertaker, and we all know Money Mayweather and Flair's last match was the big draw of that PPV.

It takes away from HHH & Reigns(as trash as it is)
I got no problem with the idea, but you don't need that in the main event of your biggest show of the year.
The match & wrestlers need to stand on their own.

He played a part (hes the company's biggest star) but there was pretty much always a bigger factor every year. Seriously Mania 22 was probably his biggest grab. I'd give him a big hand in 28-29 even though he shared those alongside the bigger draw in Rock.

Not everything need to be overanalyzed. Its the biggest show of the year, none of the other events fits that purpose and it fits perfectly. The other PPVs are where Main events need to stand on their own. Mania is the spectacle.
