I don't care who writes what or not. nikkaz can be all elitist they want. The general public does not care AT ALL. nikkaz can waste their breath if they want, but Drake is still not going anywhere. Despite his perception being changed since the Meek beef, he's still going to thrive. People think his career should be over bc of the allegations, instead it made him hotter.

Having a day job and being a ghost written artist are two different things. Ross has never done anything for people to question his pen.

Not saying it like that. I'm saying perception wise, Ross and Drake are frowned upon for their backgrounds. People couldn't fukk with Ross being a C.O. and was saying "Oh that fat phony is a liar, he never moved dope". Now it's some-what the same for Drake. Ppl think this nikka don't write his own soft ass lyrics and that he's trying to look hard as a result of ppl clowning him for being soft. But ppl mainly think this dude is a fraud bc Meek name dropped a nobody named "Quentin Miller" that became a somebody. So both have an image of looking fraud (to elitists) and that's not gonna change. Both got exposed but they're still relevant. Ross been out commercially since 2006 and is still here ten years later. If Ross didn't go no-where, what makes a mf think that Drake will?? My 2 cents.

I don't know how much whoever contributed. I do think Drake writes most of his rap rap stuff. I haven't heard anything from Hush to suggest I even like him as a rapper. It's just speculation.

Im sure a record label will soon give Hush a mega deal as a solo artist if Hush is the mega super talented hit maker you make out all by himself :pachaha: We shall wait. Until then and all his references leak it'll just be you wasting your time trying to convince everybody breh. How do you even keep track of writers credits on artists you don't care for :pachaha:

It's two different kinds of fraud though. Ross ain't the first studio gangsta or nikka with a day job.

What happened to Drake was unprecedented, the closest example I can think of is Vanilla Ice and he went from breaking records to being a complete joke. And nah I don't expect Drake to "go nowhere" or not be able to sell after being exposed because of who his fans are and how the game got conflated with R&B which watered down both genres. The people buying his records don't care because many of them aren't Hip Hop.

Hell half of them just said fukk it and started comparing him to Beyonce rather than try to defend it. Knowing that, anybody with a working brain never thought he wasn't gonna still gonna be able to sell records. It's just that this Jay-Z type legacy he was being sold along with has kind of lost it's luster. He went from "bringing lyricism back to Hip Hop" in the eyes of DJ Premier to being Milli Vanilli...

And according to Drake himself, he doesn't want to be seen as a product, yet that is what the perception will be.
