And u can run Windows programs either through Wine or through a virtualization program like VirtualBox. Just make sure your RAM game is on point

*It is pretty stable, but you have to be careful, especially with letting a laptop battery die, or putting a laptop to sleep with a VM running.

I've used Linux many times in the past, and every time I end up getting rid of it and going back to Windows. If you really know what you're doing, cost and risk of virus isn't even a factor when using Windows. Linux just seems like too much to deal with, as far as lack of convenience

i set it up for people who inevitably get viruses like my older aunts and uncles and grandparents

personally, i dont use it.

I never thought about that. Maybe I should put it on all of my family's computers because those fukkers got me fixing a different computer every week
