The thing is I thought ppl were paid because their content generate revenue and clicks. It’s not like they’re salary it’s basically comission. They only get paid if they produce money and YouTube gets a cut.
If that’s the case why does the type of content matter as long as ppl are watching?
Because YT is all about AD friendly content. They don't want anything produced that could potentially drive away viewers or advertisers.
I use to have an "AI" channel (not really AI but people are too dumb to know the difference) and people hated thst shyt.
The views were decent but every comment was about "AI" and the CIA and shyt. I got the hint and moved on.
Plus the shyt is getting too real. It could potentially open them up to lawsuits I'm sure.
YT is the strictest social media platform but they also pay the most and they aren't funny with the money like TikTok and IG can be. I honestly think it's the most creator friendly platform honestly but that's another discussion.
