For anyone who's new to the Weeknd and isn't really feeling it, I'd suggest given it another spin.

When i first listened to HOB I skipped around the album and was :aicmon: at the hype from some forums, this was back when no one really new what the Weeknd was.

About a week later i was on a long drive home and decided I might as well give it another spin. Don't know what the difference was but I was :ld::leon::ooh::ohlawd:, and that was just during High for This.

I was :lawd: the rest of the way home. So yea give it another spin, if you still don't like it :manny::pacspit:

Since it was 10$, I bought 2. One for me, the other I'm going to let people borrow so more people know about him.

The amount of time i've listened to his 3 mixtapes more than makes up the 20$.

Exactly. I've spent $20 on much more ridiculous things as well like coping brand new blurays only for them to be $10 or less by Black Friday.

I copped it 3 times just so I could get the feeling of buying 3 separate albums.

I could only imagine what I'd think of this if this was the first time I heard it.

For real son. I almost feel bad for people getting this all at once cuz they don't get the experience of having each tape completely own the season it came out in.

Same with me, more or less. I thought 'House Of Balloons' was ill, even as a certified legit fan, I don't LOVE every track on it now, but back then, I liked about 4, a lot, and was impressed. But, 'Thursday', I barely unrared it and listened one time, same with 'Echoes of Silence', I just kept with HOB, and then I went back, three months later, and I am a full on stan now, I like some of 'EOS" and 'Thursday' as much or better then his debut. And, now this trilogy, I have been playing the new tracks like 15x a day. He's an artist that grows on you, but once you get it, it's over.

anybody know if the other shyt Jeremy Rose has done is any good? What You Need(still my fav song from duke) and The Party & The Afterparty were the first Weeknd songs that I heard before HOB dropped. I know they had a falling out or whatever but from what I read they pretty much laid the blueprint for his sound that Doc & Illangelo continued on with. Can't wait to see what's next, I like the direction he went in on the new tracks, Valerie and Til Dawn are both :ohlawd:

I like his other productions. He's released a couple of EPs under the name Zodiac, plus he produced on that Jealous Guys EP.

His instrumental track 'Points' is pretty dope too, a lot like 'What You Need'
