Probably over 10,000 in media EASILY.
I have never got a single letter or email about piracy![]()

Yea and one seat is $1200 too. Is that your crib? If so![]()

They laughed at me for saying I'd want a home theater over a car.

i'm fine doing it with older movies but no way in hell would I risk it for something like birds of prey rn i feel it's automatic.
Because Movie tickets are 12 bucks MAX.I'm confused why everyone is complaining about the $19.99 for a rental of new releases?
How much are movie tickets in your city?
Out here in LA, I go to the Arclight and Alamo Drafthouse. Tickets are $18-20 bucks.
This is the same price and doesn't include parking and concessions.

And the DopemanThey say the two businesses that do well during a depression are theaters and casinos.

if/when they reopen.Theaters should try to temporarily convert themselves into drive in theaters in the mean time to make money.
You already have all that projection equipment. Set up a couple screens in the parking lot.send the audio through some radio channel that people can tune into from their vehicle radio.Let people pull up in their cars like they did back in the day.
You can only have night time showings but at least you get some money.
I want to see Candyman on the big screenTrue.
These theaters are super pricey, Alamo is a dine-in theater and arclight is a specialty theater especially if you’re going to the dome in Hollywood. Regular old theaters don’t cost this much, even arclight in Sherman oaks is more reasonable than this, $12-$15 and $15 is imax/3D prices. $8-$10 for matinees. Also Arclight Sherman Oaks validates parking so it’s free, please start going to different theaters brehif/when they reopen.

Another thing is, I’m never on my phone at the movies due to social etiquette about not doing it, plus if I’m paying for the picture I wanna get my money’s worth out of it without missing anything. I’ll even hold it in and wait to use the bathroom if I gotta take a leak or something just so I don’t miss much. But if I’m at home and streaming it? All bets are offPart of the entire reason why I like going to movies is that I am NOT at home on the couch, and can immerse myself more in the movie, disconnect a little in the darkess, plus the trip and ride home itself. Way prefer that than watching at home. I like to be able to do both.
Going to the theater helps me digest and appreciate the art form sometimes moreso than being at home, I don’t think they’ll be dying off and I hate to imagine a world where they do.
