AMC is probably going to be broken up and sold off, I think the only theater chains will be indie/high end ones, no more mid market stuff, like Regal, or AMC, that has been the trend for awhile now. You can even see in retail, like Macy's.

Families will always exist and thus AMC and Regal type theaters will.

Everyone ain’t trying to drop $20/ticket at a luxury joint with recliner seats, full bar and restaurant. That’s for dates or a nice girls day out.

The average person does not bother with downloading. Which is why music subscription streaming services took off. I still do it but for movies I want to see them in the best quality and sometimes would rather pay than risk isp letter or buy a VPN etc

A good VPN is relative pennies annually breh

I think with wage stagnation, and rising costs, a family of 4 in lower middle.middle class can't really afford the movies, like they used to, in the 90's. It's 100$ easy for a family of 4.

I interpreted you saying that luxury joints are for dates and AMC's are for family
Both are clearly used for dates, but not a lot of families shelling out the dough to hit luxury joints so they can have margaritas and calamari while watching Frozen. That’s why I said luxury joints are more for dates or being out with the homies

No one is gonna be paying 19.99 when for a movie when they got bills to pay and they aren't working because of the virus.
