I have a different perspective. When I was a kid I watched GT but Thelma was a teenager on there when I didnt have hair on my mess. So I kinda grew up viewing her as a kid who could never attain her because she was much older than me. The timing for Denise was perfect. I had hit puberty and hormones out of control. I liked the lightskinned honeys, always did....I was "lightwashed" and my moms is lightskinned. (I am dark brown). Denise from what I can remember was probably the first TRUE crush I had on a girl because I saw her like some of the others close to my age at the time and obtainable. I mean I really was in love with her.

With that being said, when I became grown and looked back at it, it was puppy love for sure because I aint even attracted to her body type. Looking at GT now is hard because as I got older I could appreciated that juiciness known as "Thalma". Bernadette is the epitome of what a black woman should look like. and talk about a super MILF. her appearance on Black Jesus .
