People are getting their original benefit amounts from the state plus the additional $600 from the Feds.
My cousin got approved for 226 a week in state benefits and will get another 600 dollars on top of that. 826 a week for almost three months.

My man posted above me that his cousin is getting $826 a week in unemployment...that's the equivalent of a damn near $28.00 an hour job...unemployed nikkas have no incentive to get a job @ safeway when the govt giving u $2400 a month on top of your states unemployment

And you can only get the extra 600 if you were laid off due to coronavirus. I'm on standby so whenever my job calls me I'm secure. I would still rather work my job tho honestly, 3 days of quarantine life and im bored af

i did the math & cats gonna be making a little less than me and i make over 30+ a hour (granted its only for a certain amount of months but still)
If i wasnt teleworking right now, i would have found a way to get let go, get this govt check and study for my classes for the next 2-3 months
