Is the 1,200 stimulus check something you have to sign up for to see if you apply?

Your direct deposit through a bank or one of those check cashing companies?

Before I opened my bank account, I used the check cashing companies.

are quick as hell.My money would be available on Wednesday nights. My bank

Not true.

Its true, homie. Unemployment is counted as taxable income, so if you are getting more in unemployment they you were normally getting paid, your tax due is higher, and, most likely, your Earned Income Credit will be less, so your amount the government was giving you for low wages will be less. Those refunds gonna be looking a little light. If you think the government was just giving $600/week out the kindness, shame on you. Gonna be alot of people looking at those tax returns different next year.

The $1,200 stimulus is NOT taxed though, so you are good there.

I'm talking about the stimulus check.

I never spoke on unemployment so I don't know why you wasted your time typing all of that
