The capital appreciation of the securities in a Roth IRA are 100% tax free if you wait until the appropriate age to take it out.

If you buy Apple stock at $260 today and in X years it's $760 then that $500 in capital appreciation and all the dividends you got is tax free when you remove it provided you meet the age requirements to do so.

Roth IRAs are limited to a small contribution amount each year. I wanna say it's like $6000 max.

It doesn't matter what age you are. You need a Roth IRA because it's a gold mine.

Nobody has gotten the checks yet from what I understand. It's direct deposit so far.
