see below. Makes sense tho, if they haven't deposited money to you how else would they know to send it. They been had the other system to add your bank account if you haven't gotten a refund in prior years.

Even if you filed your 2018 or 2019 taxes electronically, that doesn't mean the IRS can direct-deposit the money into your bank account. You must have also received a refund in those years via direct deposit to get the money delivered automatically.
The IRS is not using bank account information it may have used to withdraw from your account if you owed money

So basically they not using the account they were taking money from (if you owed). You need to have either received a refund in 2018 or 2019 electronically to get direct deposit in that same account.

The get my payment app is for entering direct deposit info. It has literally accepted users info (2019 tax info)and informed them they will get a direct deposit. Just have to wait for the next round of deposits. Should be to nite.

This shyt crazy. I heard they can only send out 5 million checks a week so this is a big deal. They should've made it easier to do DD. About half of qualifying Americans are stuck waiting for up to 8 weeks

The turbo tax one? that's for folks not required to file. It was done a few days before the first wave of dd's. It wasn't available before those dd's were created tho.

I honestly don't think anyone who used either has gotten a check. Maybe some have, I serious doubt it. The folks who had their dd info on their returns already should certainly all have theirs by now if the info was correct.

No I'm talking directly thru the IRS website , however I was slightly mistaken. The one that was already up was only if you weren't required to file a tax return for 2018 /2019.
