No I'm talking directly thru the IRS website , however I was slightly mistaken. The one that was already up was only if you weren't required to file a tax return for 2018 /2019.

It's really a waiting game at this point. I don't qualify, but I have friends and fam that does, so I'm trying to help them out.

I helped a family member do the get my payment portal. Everything worked out fine, and stated they would get their payment via dd, but said check back later.

Now they're locked out of it, so understandably they're nervous about it. I told them a lot of this is so unclear.

The main two things have been confirmed......filers with dd....they should have their dd check by now. And paper checks are last.

Everyone else probably next week, but there's really no confirmation solid enough to believe in, so the waiting game is on.

if your 2018 has dd info on it, they would have used it. You can try the get my payment portal. but I can't imagine them doing dd after the ssi and related folks which is supposed to be this weekend. So if you're trying to get in this may be the last opportunity.

If they are in a situation where they gotta send out 50 million checks, I'm sure the IRS will accept updated Direct Deposit information. Thats 10 weeks by mail

Just my opinion, but I already think they are expecting the worst scenario which is sending out paper. Somehow all they're gonna do is throw this back on the laps of the citizens and make them wait for something some may not ever get at all.

When this was first approved, the first thing well known was if you already filed (specifically 2018 taxes) w/dd info....you're in good overall company. Your deposit payment should arrive as scheduled. the vast majority of those have gotten theirs by now. Any errors are being routed to paper, so those folks probably will head to the back of the line. they aren't allowing a redo of dd info.

Reality is, the rest are in an wait game state. My interest is seeing the folks who utilized the portals if they get dd payments. Otherwise it was a bs move and a complete waste of effort.

I been reading dead folks getting theirs while others isnt and some people had it sent to accounts they dont even have access too anymore and H&R Block took some folks shyt and acting like they dont know what theyre talkin about

thats the same portal we talking about man, they saying at mininum 22 million people cant get past the "payment status not available" part of that portal.

The get my payment app is for entering direct deposit info. It has literally accepted users info (2019 tax info)and informed them they will get a direct deposit. Just have to wait for the next round of deposits. Should be to nite.
