I heard it's based on whether your state has antiquated technology that's having trouble issuing larger amounts to the unemployment checks.

Some tech podcast I was listening to the other day said several states used 40 year old mainframes to process their unemployment checks. And they we're looking for COBOL programmers to help them change the systems. Because they couldn't process anything but the default benefits.

So basically I just gotta keep waitin cuz it’s trash in Florida. They disabled the site for ppl that aren’t new sign up also.

I heard Florida's problem was because the new Governor purposely sabotaged the unemployment system making it harder to get benefits.

Me and you was like the only brehs left in this thread who wasn’t getting through. I got through this morning. You sure you putting shyt in right? When it says you locked outed and got to wait 24 hours. Set a timer for 24 hours because they really mean a whole 24 hours. I thought 24 hours meant. Once the clock hit 12 am I could try it again. Nope they want you to wait a whole 24 hours.

The thing that was putting me off I believe was my address. They specific about that format.

i watched a video saying if your street address is like 123 macon ave just type it in 123 macon and I did that and it accepted it first time

Yep this. I was doin the address format wrong. My address always give ppl problem: nobody ever reads it back to me correctly when I write down. If you ain’t from where I’m from you getting lost.


And I kept resetting myself back not doing the whole 24.

You just gotta keep trying once a day. I still haven't been able to get through either, but some people seem to be, albeit slowly.
