US women’s soccer is one of the rare instances where they probably generate more revenue than their male counterparts…

They dont. no where near. They are however more successful then the mens and its not even close.
Its just that the mens game generate way more money so if even tho the USMNT are mediocre they benefit from the popularity of the mens game.

Only female sports that attracts any interest is tennis, gymnastics, track and field, and to a lesser extent boxing and mma. If the interest isn't there, neither will be the money.

USWNT should get paid because they are actually good. Other countries downplay the women because their women suck and ours are better.
It's a great example of how good we COULD be in soccer if we took it as seriously for men as we do for women.
