Sheard didn't really fit into their scheme but that's what happens when you're switching your staff every year- 2 years.

More than half weren't even drafted by the Browns. They were free agents that we picked up by Lombardi. Sheard was a beast for the Browns but the new coaching staff didn't think he fit their system.. Dion Lewis was very good for the Browns but was always hurt. Kitchen was a backup for the Browns just like for the Patriots. If Bill can turn Mingo into a monster, that would be something. But none of these players played became pro bowlers for the Browns or the Patriots besides borderline guys like Sheard who was also a beast playing for the Browns.

that was a regrettable decision tho, guys like him are hard to come by and usually cost a top 50 pick. when a guy has 'the look' you got to find ways to get him on the field as much as possible

the others are whatever, just thought it was a weird fact. Lewis bounced around a few teams, and Mingo was terrible when he played so i cant fault the Browns for them

Don't know about winning the big one but he mos def can get to playoffs and AFC Champ Game with Weeden.
